There’s Nothing Quite Like Seeing Montana From the Sky

Whether you want to fly for the freedom of it or build a career in aviation, Northstar Jet gives you the instruction, flexibility, and local experience to move forward with confidence.

Training Built Around You

Whether flying is a new hobby, a way to build hours, or the start of a career, Northstar Jet trains you right here — in the mountain airspace you'll actually be flying in. Our Part 61 program flexes around your schedule, and every instructor trains specifically for Montana's mountain airports, shifting density altitude, and valley-by-valley weather, so what you learn in the air holds up once you're flying on your own.

Take the Controls. See What Flying Feels Like.

A Discovery Flight is the simplest way to find out whether flying is for you. Meet a certified flight instructor, get familiar with the aircraft, and experience a 45-minute introductory flight above Western Montana. With your instructor beside you, you will see how a lesson works, ask questions about becoming a pilot, and get your first experience at the controls.

Discovery Flights currently range from $115 to $165, depending on flight duration.
