For more than three decades, Northstar Jet has served pilots, passengers, aircraft owners, and students with professional service, local knowledge, and attention to every detail.
Our Story
Northstar Jet began serving Western Montana’s aviation community in 1990. More than three decades later, customers still see that local foundation in responsive line service, extensive hangar facilities, and a flight school that gives first-time students and experienced pilots the attention they need.
Northstar Jet was founded by Missoula aviation entrepreneur Marta Timmons, who later established Neptune Aviation after acquiring an established aerial firefighting operation. Today, Northstar Jet is a Neptune company, giving aircraft owners access to onsite maintenance and avionics support backed by decades of hands-on aviation experience.

They are often the first people customers meet when they arrive and the last they see before departure. We take that responsibility seriously.
Their work is supported by a customer service team ready to coordinate rental cars, catering, ground transportation, and local recommendations, helping make every stop in Missoula as seamless as possible.
